Winner Stays On is a London-based weekly where top players around the country get invited to a series of FT5 (first to five) games against each other.

The counter to NorCal's SF Game Night is the UGC Live, featuring all kinds of SoCal talent. Recurring players include LPN, Julio, Ricky Ortiz, HooDaMan, El Cubano Loco, G Dragon, Jame, Nando, and BJ Unchained, with occasional commentators/guests Crackfiend, Nacer, SD|Watt, and Mike Ross Showdown.gg airs weekly tournaments from the NorCal scene. The streams are high quality and the commentators are pretty chill, so they're usually worth watching to tide you over between major tournaments.Įvery now and then, the venues will host some more serious fare: Tournaments where the winner gets a sponsored trip to Evolution, events where winners receive seeding for some upcoming tournaments, or even some minor prize pools. The idea is to promote the Street Fighter scene and to shed light on players you don't always see in major tournaments, as well as up-and-coming talent. These events are usually held in arcades, exist mostly for bragging rights, and usually attract a group of strong regulars from the local scene.
